Computers Donated to Sawan Dharmarth Ashram

“Educate daughters, protect daughters, and help them build settled lives”—a noble commitment that is transforming lives! 🙏❤️

Five days ago, we had the good fortune to visit Sawan Dharmarth Ashram. There, we met a 95-year-old elder whose youthful enthusiasm, spirit of service, and dedication to society remain an inspiration to young people.

For the past 30 years, he has been educating children and helping girls become self-reliant and build brighter futures through the transformative commitment to “educate daughters, protect daughters, and help them build settled lives.”

In this interview, you will see the inspiring story of a young woman who studied at this institution, completed her M.A. and B.Ed., and went on to secure a good job. The institution also helped arrange her marriage. Her achievement is more than one young woman’s success—it is a living example of the power of education and service. 🙏

The institution had only five computers for teaching children. They told us that six additional computers would enable them to provide computer education to around 70 children a day, instead of 30.

On behalf of Shri Gopal Sewa Dham, we made meeting this need our commitment to service.

We contacted a company to supply computers that met the institution’s requirements and donated six computers worth approximately ₹3 lakh (₹300,000), so that more children could have the opportunity to receive a modern education. 💻🙏

That morning, the computers were blessed by revered Maharaj Shri himself. Maharaj Shri had to leave for Mainpuri that day and therefore could not be present when the computers were distributed. Later, our team visited the institution and presented the computers to the children.

The scene there moved me deeply. The joy on the children’s faces, the dreams in their eyes, and their hope for the future brought a happiness that is difficult to put into words.

To me, true service means putting the tools of education into a child’s hands, giving a daughter the opportunity to become self-reliant, and bringing happiness into a family’s life.
